I am already running Megasquirt
On my own car - fuel and ignition, WBO2, etc, however they may well be a few customer engines after this one so commercially available systems need to be used that the mappers are familiar with. Already have one on Haldex, but had some ignition controller problems with it, so going with something el...

Thanks guys!
For all the help, support in tips for installing the MJLJ, the software updates and all the work everyone has put into it over the years - it hasn't missed a beat while we've been using it. Unfortunately it's now going on a shelf as the VW engine has been ditched in a slightly alcoholic plan which i...

Good point
I was intending on using the low contraction stuff through, but I think I might just go with securing the components better and see how it goes, the case is suspended on rubber mountings so it shouldn't be too bad.

MJLJ - any worries when potting in epoxy?
After reading the bits about MJLJ not being specced up for heavy vibrations, I'm wondering if there's anything dissapating enough heat that potting the board in epoxy to help with vibration would be a problem?

Hi VW, you made it over here from volkszone then!
Regarding the advice about vibrations brent - We've been running ours on rubber mountings inside a sealed battery box and it seems fine so far. Touch wood!

Although it hasn't been in competition yet, just testing.

It'd be handy if someone
It'd be handy if someone could come up with a small touchscreen unit that would display the software and allow the map to be tweaked too, similar to a PDA, I'm not sure if the current source code could be adapted into a self contained unit though?
My laptop is seriously looking the worse for wear.

This just sounds superb
How often do you buy a product and it just keeps getting better and better? Not often! I just wanted to say thanks to brent and everyone who is helping with these developments - it'smaking life bliss for the rest of us! TPS calibration is going to help a hell of a lot as we seem to be killing them t...

Ok, sorted it, it didn't like my preference for having the maps the other way up, doh. New config, tweaked values, if of any use to anyone (vw aircooled on dellorto 40's, 1.8 litre from 1.6, fast road cam + heads, 4-1 exhaust): http://www.box.net/public/lt8auk8h61 And I spelt gauge wrong. ;) Is ther...

Yep, all values appear good, it may be because I'm using TPS rather than MAP?

No 3D graphing when loading .cfg from previous version.
God knows why, but the entire graph just disappears off the face of the earth, works fine if I start a new config though.

You could try
THe clunk tank kit from www.nitroflight.com. Go to the fueling section, it's in there - £3.20 inc VAT though. That has a bulkhead connector if you look at it, designed for passing fuel hose through plastic tanks, includes grommets and washers too. You could possibly use that 99p inline fuel filter ...
