does the coil pack have to be earthed?

thanks again Brent heres my latest find... i tired your 'power cycle' suggestion and yes hyperterminal does recieve a small amount of data from mjlj. what i found odd, though, is that it only recieves any data when i turn the ignition to 'start' as opposed to 'on' so im assuming that mjlj and edis i...

edis-4 wiring

looking at the wiring diagram brent has supplied, on the shielded cable connecting edis to megajolt (PIP and SAW connections) the earth is connected to pin #7 on the edis-4 plug, however when i bought an edis-4 unit (which still had all the wiring connected) the earth from the shielded cable was con...

plenum and vaccum hose design for individual runners

would this work? http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q88/Mk1Sport/vacuumtubes3.jpg or would the unequal lengths and the fact that the hoses join so close to the runners create a vaccum problem? or would an idea like this work better? http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q88/Mk1Sport/vacuumtubes.jpg als...
