Thanks Brent! You're a lifesaver! I'm having a little trouble getting used to this board.

V2 Board
I have an old V2 board with "most" of the parts but I need a BOM and the assembly instructions. Is there any way to access the old boards to get the info I need? Anyplace else I can find this info? Thanks.

just "ditto"ing 4600cc's
Just "ditto"ing 4600cc's comments. Unless you plan to run some very large radical cams, I would definetly go with a MAP setup. There is a place for TPS but they are few compared to MAP. As far as an actual mapped table is concerned, just look in the contributed files section here and you w...

Digi-Key order substitutes for V2 Board
Brent, If you would like to make life a little easier for some of us you need to substitute some part #'s in the Digikey order form for the V2 board. I know there are very few of these being built now but it would save some trouble for those who do. I placed an order and had to substitute the follow...

There are several good
There are several good starter MAPS in the file section. No one will be able to give you a MAP ready-to-go. You will need to tune it yourself. Because you are not boosted you should be able to do this with little risk of hurting your engine. It is trial and error. If you can get hold of a stock curv...

I run MS-1 with a V2.2 board
I run MS-1 with a V2.2 board along with MJLJ. The tach output from the MJLJ works as a great trigger for the MS. I was getting ready to convert mine to MSnS EDIS but the new tuning software for MJLJ now runs on WIN95 so I see no need. I also like the extra RPM and KPA based outputs of the MJLJ wich ...

I would try this as I have no communication with my board but I don't know what this means:
1. Connect serial port 1 and 2 with cross over cable or virtual serial port driver
If I can do it I will try.

Yes and No
Brent would probably be able to answer this better but I believe this is actually an early "spin-off" of megasquirt. I do remember when this site was directly linked to the MS site but that changed a couple years ago. Brent got this up and running quite some time before MS was ignition cap...

Do your tables go higher
Do your tables go higher than 5000 rpm? Are you sure you don't have the 3.0 firware and have the rev limit set to that point? Have you tried it with the tach disconnected?

Have you loaded the
Have you loaded the MJLJunior-3.0.1s19 firmware yet? This has a soft revlimiter built in wich pulls timing to 0° at the preset limit. Have you tried this yet? It may not be "positive" enough for your application. Depends on what you are trying to accomplish with it.

Wiring the sensor backwards
Wiring the sensor backwards will not fry the module. Many have done it before.
Have you tried running in base timing without the MJLJ connected?
