Looking at the EDIS module in the diagram with the plug to to top pin 1 is at the left hand side.

EDIS-4 and EDIS-8 use different connectors. They are different connectors, it's shape, but the pins are the same. what I did with my two installations is spend a little more time at the scrap yard and take the whole section of the EDIS wiring loom. All you need to do then is plug it all into your car , connect the pip and saw wires and the power. Everything is as Ford made it, all screens attached etc.

I think this is the diagram Josh made but I don't know if there have been any updates to it, it says it's version 2.

That's what I've got on my ancient TR6 (EDIS6 & coil pack) and it works a treat.

if you want to use this odd fire cut down V8 then you should consider using a V8 setup with 2 coil packs and not using 2 of the outputs.
