thats looks like it might work! as its been said before, determining what knock actually is for your particular engine is the main problem- it might be happening but the sensor you have off say some other engine might not detect it. to get aorund this you could get one of the audio aplifier kits fro...

sorry to drag this one back up but i thought i should give an update: its fixed! on closer inspection of the vr sensor i realised that the crank pulley had burned through the side of the sensor and was touching the bared copper strands! i guess it was effectively shorting the sensor and hence no out...

mine: supercharged 2.0l engine. the dizzy (even with a retard capsule) just couldnt give me the advance i want under all load conditions. the megajolt allows any advance i want at any load vs rpm- perfect!. the engine in standard trim has 98 bhp. with the supercharger one or two other choice mods an...

assuming the engines fueeling is setup correctly then the leaning out when adjusting the timing will be due to it producing a more efficient burn. your not trying to adjust the timing to get the mixture right though. but it is a useful tool, for example, if your leaning out under full load, you may ...

Hi Brent good work on the new Megajolt! i really like the aux input part. I would be looking to use it in conjunction with knock sensing, but like you have already said, itl need to investigating. my question is- what sort of input does the aux require?- im not an electronics whizz so could you have...

Ok ive had the megajolt in for almost a year now, and its been faultless up until now. I was out doing some fuel pump and regulator testing when shes popped, banged and then rolled to a stop. i was redlining it at the time. the engine is ok mechanically because it turns over ok and occasionally fire...

Cranking bin figure
I have a question regarding the cranking load/rpm bin (1,1). am i right in thinking the the megjolt looks this bin up during cranking?- if so what sort of advance figure do i want in there- higher than my idle advance or lower? if its higher than the idle advance, how much higher should it be for ex...
