Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use the sensor from an Jaguar XJ40 engine instead of the EDIS one? This is a much neater fit on a Ford Crosslow engine than the EDIS item and does not need any brackets making.

Thanks. I looked there but there is no mention of a com port at all.

I have made a copy of that registry key and I am attaching it to this post in case it helps.

If I look in version 3.0.0 I also do not see any reference to a com port.

I do not have any keys for Megajolt in Local Machine - even for the v3.0.0 software which does work (albeit without the EDIS connected)

There are entries in other areas of the registry but none refer to com ports

I see the title banner across the screen then it locks up and stays like that. The pc still works and task manager just says it is not responding.

Does anyone know what the minimum spec for a laptop is to run the software? I have an old (very old) compaq on windows 98 and it will run v3.0.0 software but not 3.2.0 or 3.2.1. Hi The racing series I run in will only allow control of advance based on engine speed. Can anyone tell me if there is a problem with using MJLJ with a 2D map? Presumably the TPS version would be needed with a fixed resistance instead of the TPS or just the wire connecting the two terminals? Thanks ...
