5V reference distribution

Curious how everyone is handling the 5V reference for multiple sensors?

5V ref to a distribution block of some sort? Build a some PCB integrated into the harness?

Thanks

For Racing has anyone wired 2 MJLJ units on a switch

I am preparing the car for a 12 hour enduro and anything that can go wrong is likely to go wrong.

Has anyone thought out the details of running 2 units parallel and being able to switch back and forth from a simple switch?
Thanks

VR sensor calibration

Is there a way to fine tune the VR sensor calibration.

I inherited a car and the set-up is off by about 10 degrees. Car ran fine but I have degreed everything and the sensor is off by 1 tooth.

Thank you.

Hi Brent, Yes it totally separated and failed above the solder joints on the 3 pins. The unit is isolated from the body with rubber stand-offs - but this is a race application. We will use a dab of silicone to secure to the board in the future. FYI the unit that failed was one that was purchased ful...

Hi Guys, Update! We got it working. The car was defaulting to limp home mode. It turned out to be a component that had separated from the board. Luckily we had a spare box and everything was fine. The piece was rattling around the box. http://i27.tinypic.com/2mgoaol.jpg I think we will silicone the ...

Hi Brent,

Never thought about running it in default @ 7000 rpm+

Plugs are good. Rev limiting is through MJL set to 8200 RPM.

Troubleshooting Help

Hi Guys, I have MJ installed in my race car and with (GT3 Road Race) and with the exception of an exploding trigger wheel (stock ford part) that my partner experienced the system has been relatively trouble free. Last night while doing some testing the car ran flawlessly for a few hours then I bounc...
