Hi - thanks for the replies. Ultimately, all I want is a tacho that works (pref with little extra circuitry that might go wrong in future) when I go through scrutineering noise checks! Because neither rev counters now work :-/ what is the best way to ensure I am getting a good tacho output from the ...

TIM + Racetech Rev counter issue
Hi all, My MJ v3.3.2 is working well on the sprint/hillclimb mini. I bought a Racetech rev counter to replace my TIM cheapy rev counter (running with the zener diode circuit from the install guide) that was bouncing quite a bit. I've never been able to get the Racetech working with either the direct...

Firmware upgrade DOS message
Hi, I've put this as a new post as I don't think its related to my other drama. I reinstalled the v3.3.1 firmware on my v3 mjlj to rule out my rough running issue (I use v3.3.2 configurator). Once the mjlj has been found, I get a different message - 'off key' rather than 'good'. (see attachment) Wil...

Dudes... Had some time tonight to look into this little drama. I went back over the Vr sensor as suggested. The gap between the head and the wheel is 0.2mm - too close? :?: The sensor mount was solid - so I went onto the shielding - I had the vr shielding going into pin 7 on the edis alone, with the...

One thing to add... I reinstalled all the firmware to the mjlj using the hc08sprg etc etc, and when power goes on and you should get... Waiting for HC08 reset ACK...received 0xfc (good). I don't get 'good', I get something else - it was 11pm and 12 hours into it, so I can't remember what it was. *%$...

Existing setup giving misfire?
Hi, Ive had to miss my first race this season after a misfire & random communication issues between my v3.3.1 mjlj and the edis. It all ran fine with a good map before winter - but now misfires and won't drive above 2500rpm. She starts and idles fine, but I noticed the misfire when in the garage...
