Glad you mentioned that, because initially I thought that might be the logical/easiest place to put it. All my research indicated on the carb was the way to go. I'll have a think about it. See what I can come up with.

twin carbs/single...? err twins..... errr 4 of them!! :-) 'choke' is often refered to as the actual venturi 'choke' within the carb, not necessarily the choke enrichment system used when starting from cold! for example a 45 carb like mine has 36mm chokes in it! the tps unit I got hold of (off a for...

I am planning a road trip in the van, so simplicity in a roadside fixing situation is an important factor as much as ease of installation and robustness. I have d...

I am considering a different approach which should just "bolt on". It involves making an aluminium ring to fit into the recess of the impeller fan opening just underneath the fan belt groove. So on the "outer edge" of the fan itself, if I understand correctly? Attached to the ri...

Ta for the link. I was hoping to do a "bolt on" type of install, but seeing those pics makes me want to wait till I rebuild the engine and do a "proper" install like those on display.

Curious if any progress was made on this as I am considering doing the same.
