Well here's one that i'm using fine but without any tuning so far..... Engine Mfg: Triumph Engine Code: TR250 Cylinders: 6 Displacement (cc): 2498cc Rev Limit: ??? Thanks for that....I need to keep the bottom end of the dizzy for the tachometer drive at least...and maybe need to rig something there if I go for Megasquirt injection too?
Brent, can you confirm that the the two switchable ignition maps that I have, are switchable 'on the fly' or do they need to be selected before starting? If they can be switched on the move then I suppose that's another way of reducing knock automatically by selecting the alternative map when sensed...
Happy to say there are no plans on doing a full EFI system in the near or distant future. :) That's a pity Brent, as i'm really pleased with the Megajolt functions.....and Autolabs service..... and as Salamander says, the Megasquirt can also do the ignition. This website seems to say that the Megaj...
 We don't have a print capability. I suppose you could do a alt-print screen and paste the window into a word document, and then print that out. Cheesy, yes. Is that the method that you use for the documentation notes Brent? I cannot get 'print screen' to respond :( Importing into Xcel does g...
The trigger offset is to adjust for slight sensor<->trigger wheel mis-alignments. Positive number, more static ignition advance, negative; less advance. Also see: http://www.autosportlabs.net/MJLJ_V4_Operation_Guide#Trigger_Offset If I run the EDIS-6 without the megajolt should that give me exactly...
Thanks Brent, I had not seen an actual vac gauge before!. However the V4 gauge goes anticlockwise and the figures DECREASE (from 102 to zero), rather than increase (0 to 30 Hg) as per your examples.....although I notice they are both in Hg!! (see my previous old post  ) can you explain 'How wou...
Brent, can you explain the reasoning for having the vacuum gauge going anti-clockwise (towards low numbers) for high vac? Looking at the stock 'safe' map I see that the load (vacuum) bins reduce at high vacuum (low throttle) I thought that a standard distributor system using a vac. capsule would app...
Thanks Brent, A few more questions  just to get it clear in my mind before I hardwire the harness, the EDIS-6 fires the coil pack in the order: pin10 - pin12 - pin11 - pin10 - pin12 - pin11 etc?? and looking at a coil pack (Ford V6 Mondeo) do the pairs of sparkplug leads follow the connector p...
