What type of engine BTW? I can see that some of the 3.5V8's may use quite a bit but as you say 2.2 I'm guessing that's a 4cyl? If so I still think very few engines like that will need that much. Just try dropping all the numbers by a good bit and see if things improve...

In my opinion, you have WAY too much advance there... certainly for a starting map... you say you have to back off to get the revs up, that could be because the engine is pinking away and not producing any power! Without being rude, do you know what pinking / pre-ignition is? If not or if you're not...
