How to write a MAP
So, okay. I got a MAP that i created from Brent's "baseline" MAP and "miniman82's" map (I have a Corvair but it isn't a turbo) and the test run I had lots of power...so far so good. but I got to thinking...In reality I have NO idea how to "write" a map. i understand tha...

Sensor Air gap
I've searched all over and can't find a specification for air gap.
I have the thick crank sensor unit with the short magnetic sensor...from a Taurus maybe? not sure..
anyway, I was thinking maybe a credit card?
Thanks,
Ryan

I don't know if you're still paying attn to this post, but I would love it if you could get me the measurements. I need a set for my Corvair (pancake 6).. I'm going to need to change out the ends too. Since Corvairs are aircooled there's a little dunot like end that seals against the top shroud.. do...

Now lets see if my map works! I don't have it on this computer or I'd post it here. basically I used Brents basic NA map, and then changed the RPM bins to the same as yours, then changed the kp loads to the same as yours. I added more advance than you (10? I thought turbos were supposed to be like 2...

EDIS Firing
I've seen a few posts regarding what order the EDIS units fire in, but none of the information I found really made much sense to me. I have an EDIS 6 that I'm going to use in a 65 Corvair (yes, miniman and I are in car-land cahootz!) and I'm trying to figure out what order the unit fires in. does it...

I don't know that there will be nearly as many users that need a linux version as there would be for a mac, but I agree...a competent computer nerd should be able to come up with different versions for the popular op systems. Like i said, as it is I'm gonna have to find someone else with a computer ...

Mac software
It would be nice to not have to find someone else's computer to tune with.
I'm a mac guy...always have been. can't imagine it's that hard to create the program to work on a mac too..
That said I'm still going to buy it and use someone elses computer, but it would be easier if I didn't have to.
