Thanks very much for your reply i picked up a new Edis 4 unit from the scrappy today and she fired up straight away. Many thenks to (Martin i think) who posted the tests on this site.

Right just at the early stage ive installing my Edis System (Ford X-flow) ive installed trigger wheel and crank sensor and have connected up the Edis unit and Coil pack to a permanent 12v supply (Just to test system so i can finalise my wiring after i know it works) i have also earthed the Edis unit...
