I just use my portable 5 gas analyser which has a lambda reading & run her up the road,as long as you can get it near to 1.0 its running spot on,it also gives you the HC measurements.

Mine are 52 idles 180 mains 220 AC & 30mm chokes(I Think) in 36 IDFS It did have 135 mains but was running too lean,it still is a bit.How is yours running? have you had it dynoed yet?

Cheers mate,I will put that in,I just need to open the jets out a tad more as shes still running lean at the mid to top end

Ive now sorted the carb jetting out a bit as it was running lean at higher revs,I drilled the 135 mains out to 160 then 180 much better,she really pulls now,the CO's around 3-4 % when pulling hard in 3rd And the HC's are around 220 at idea which is great! Alfa Boxer hows the map going? Mines not pin...

Yes I put mine on the end of one carb,it was easier to fit then I thought,I just need to tighten the pulley up a bit more bcos as you know they dont have any location! & it has worked loose once.I'll add some pics on here when I figure how to.Cheers,Pete

Hi, Having just fitted a megajolt to my '69 Beetle which is fiited with an Alfa boxer 1.7 16v engine,got it to run OK but just need a better map.Anybody got one or any ideas as to what I need?
