I have checked for any play In the crank sensor and can confirm that it is all rigid and that the gap is 1mm away from the trigger wheel. another vista problem

hi i have got a megajolt version 4 set up on a mini and i am trying to get it working on vista 32bit with a maplin serial to usb i have tryed it on my mates xp netbook and it works fine but after i configure the com port to which ever one i am using i still get the same message "cylinder count ...
