sucks....
I have turned down the harmonic dampner hub a little to smooth it. Laying out the holes will be easy, I guess the only real work will be the need for a really steady triangulated bracket as the sensor will be 5" away from the engine block instead of the pictured one which was right against it. ...

Mapping
You can keep the default map and do an altered copy for the second config. If the trial map didn't work for some reason, you just switch to the default, which is your safety net... OK, on the second copy...reset the max rpms to 6000 as you need and keep whatever the maximum advance is. Just continue...

ABS sensor used for a VR sensor?
I was doing brakes on my pick-up and noticed how similar the ABS sensor was to a VR sensor. The sensor takes impulses from a multi tooth wheel on the back of the hub. The small wheel is made of cheap looking stamped sheet metal which made me think that the sensor was very sensitive. Has anyone tried...

no internet involved. (Maybe some confusion though)
I just bought a used EDIS6 box from this site and the plug/wiring stub on it has (what I describe as) a spout connector in the wire from the 3 rd pin. Red (SAW) wire, black two prong plug in series, gray plug that seems to just make continuity in the 3 rd red SAW wire... was just wondering if it had...

Is there any benefit to leaving the ford spout connector in the loop when wiring a new harness?

Uh oh.....
So, I guess my iPad is out....lol. Too bad cause it is a powerhouse when compared to a phone. I do have wi fi as well as Bluetooth and 3G. The usb adapter for a camera looks to be handiest. It has possibilities......
