Well I've got a spare oscillator, so I'll replace it and see if that helps. I've already done the voltage checks and there's 5v in all the right places, so no danger of blowing it up!

Hi Brent, hc08sprg.exe outputs as follows: Waiting for HC08 reset ACK... then when you plug the Megajolt in it ouputs: received 0x00 (off-key). Calibration break pulse sent. You are correct in assuming it's a typo. You need to remove Q8 and D7 as shown in the photos. I have no idea why I wrote D5 & Q2 initially, but I've now corrected it )
