RPM read on laptop is unsteady

Even when the motor's running very, very steady, and not real slow, the rpm readout, the analog display, etc, all are unstable. They change by up to 200 rpm constantly. Even when you are watching the advance config display, the "active" cell will hop back and forth between cells while the ...

There is no programmable hysteresis within the megajolt unit itself I'm afraid. You would be better off utilizing a standard fan control switch as can be found on most modern car radiators. These do have their own built in hysteresis and would be perfectly capable to do the job. Regards Ryan Bummer...

cooling fan control.

How would I use the aux port to control a radiator fan? I simply have no idea how to do this. Obviously, it needs some hysteresis, so that it comes on at like 200 and off at 180 (or other appropriate range).

Is that doable? If so, how?

Misfire when starting

For some reason, I am getting a misfire while cranking. About every 10 to 20 starts, it will backfire through the carb, kick against the starter, fire out the tailpipe, or otherwise demonstrate some random ignition firing. As far as I can tell, I have good voltage to the EDIS system and grounding as...

When your sensor is off slightly

When I got it all together, somehow I built in a 4 degree error into my system, so that I'm 4 degrees off. I have adjustability, but fully adjusted, I'm 4 off. Anyway, I thought you could adjust the the system in the controller configuration setup where you can adjust + or - up to 5 degrees, but it ...
