UPDATE: I have a simple setup where two replay xd1080 cameras are powered by the 5v reference output with the grounds going through two of the GPIO channels. I have tested that on the car in my shop and it seems to work like a charm. Have not tried it on the track yet, but I don't see why it would h...

Controlling the Replay xd1080
The Replay xd1080 video camera has a feature that will turn it on and start recording whenever external power is applied. I'd like to control it using my RCP MKII, but the camera requires 5V and (I think) 500mA or above. I think this rules out the analog outputs which provide only 50mA (right?). Has...

Virtual CAN Channels not showing in Android Dash App
I have mapped an RPM CAN signal to a virtual channel. I see the RPM on the RCP App on my laptop, but not in the Android app over BT.
What am I missing? Do virtual channels not broadcast over BT or something?

Yep, did all that with Indigo and it seemed to start up a session but getting no data back from viewLog. Will try putty to see if that works better. Thanks so much for the pointers! In the mean time, I think I figured out the RPM channel. The CAN IDs that the EC2 is emitting don't match what is in t...

Where is the log file that Lua prints to?
Sorry for the dumb question, but I can't find where my print statements in Lua are being logged to. I see them in the scripting part of the RCP app (you really need to make the script section of that scroll BTW). But they aren't being written to my SD card AFAIK. I'm trying to log a bunch of raw CAN...

Mk1 RCP + Telemetry unit for sale
I am upgrading to the Mk2, so putting my Mk1 and Telemetry unit up for sale. $250 obo for both.
Both are used, but in like new condition with the fuzzy side of Velcro attached (removable if you prefer). I used them over the last couple of seasons in a race car and they work great.
Thanks!
Wayne

Here are a few shots of the car... one at the track last season, one of the current state of my frame-up rebuild, and one of the current wheel and dash setup. The big open space on the dash is for an unlocked Sony Experia phone on which to run the RCP dash app. The red shift light in the middle and ...

Thanks Ryan. Let me make sure I understand, are you saying that the Mk1 telemetry unit will not work at all with the Mk2 RCP, or just that it can't work simultaneously with the Bluetooth module? This is a dedicated spec racer, and I've designed my new dash around an android device that will be runni...
