In case anyone has the same question, the threads are 3mm x 0.5

My local mom n pop hardware store actually had them in stock in a few different lengths.

Does anyone know what size the screw bosses on the official pi 7" display are? I found some that fit in my computer parts junk drawer, but I need to find some that are about 3mm longer than those.
TIA

Following up on this, most guys aren't running stock instruments. In this case a voltage divider to the sensor will work fine with a custom calibration, correct? Just double check ground to make sure everything is happy.

I added a file to that, the PWC base config for VW, that is the motec config file for a C125 dash.

You can download the dash manager software from this link:

Okay, here's a link in case someone wants to help out. Three files, one is a motec dash looking to hook up with a VW, one is the VW alone, and one is the motec dash and the VW getting it on.

VAG CAN information.

I found some interesting info on the VAG CAN bus. We know that the CAN bus is filtered by the CAN Gateway and that almost nothing will appear at the OBD2 port without being requested. There are three busses that can be sniffed behind the gateway; powertrain, infotainment, and Comfort. I haven't spen...

I think it's possible that you are only looking at the diagnostic CAN-Bus if you are plugged into the OBDII port. The MK7 VW has 7 CAN-Buses. I think you may have more success if you connect to the powertrain CAN-Bus directly. You will need to find the CAN Gateway module and connect to CAN hi and CA...

RCP2 installed in a VVT Spec Miata

Hey guys, I just thought y'all might enjoy seeing the installation I just did last week. I think it turned out pretty well. I'm really happy with the results that we got using AEM sensors with the Pro2. I just bought one of the new RaceCapture devices for my own car, and I'm having a little bit of r...

I guess I should mention that I'm working with an RCP2 for this.

No jumpers to swap, When I copy in your script without the virtual channels and some of the comments I hook the lights up, they just stay on all the time, I guess I need to figure out the settings in set-up on those channels.

I would like to do what you are doing here, I just want to make sure I understand a couple of things. Your virtual channels are not being used for controlling ShiftX, correct? This is just something you've added because you want it, I think. Are you using the three Digital I/O's or the Pulse/Analog ...

In that case, the session recorded on the fly can be exported and re-imported into another app, say 'the master app' running on a laptop. This scenario still avoids the need to pull SD cards. The next goal is to have the ability to push/pull sessions to your Podium account which will automatically ...

You have a MK1 RaceCapture/Pro ? The system has come a long way since then, especially the app / analysis features! Still, we've ensured the latest app will work with the MK1. I do, looking at replacing some systems in other cars with the new stuff and doing whatever is needed to have both of the c...
