Hi,
I'll be in Sebring from Friday afternoon until Sunday night doing an Autocross and a DE with the Porsche Club. Anybody going to be in that area?

Walt, I worked Grid on Thursday night and all day Friday and was a Pit Marshall on Sunday. We probably worked together at some point and didn't even realize it. Saturday I had to go drive the fastest air-cooled car in the Autocross Challenge. :D No data though, because I didn't have everything sorte...

"Mode" selector
I have been experimenting with a spdt switch and a variation of the single wire gear indicator idea to build a 'mode' selector switch. I use my car for both DE and autocross, and I may not be launching for a DE event like I would be for an autocross. I tried to set it up today, but it was too tricky...

separate start/finish line setup
How do I enter separate start/finish lines, like for autocross? Can I just input the lat/long from my phone at each point?

How to blink a light on the GPIO?
I have a light on my dash that I want to use to indicate when my RCP is armed, like for the autocross script. I would like to have it blink to indicate that the RCP is ready and then after the script gives the 'startLogging()' command, have it turn on solid until logging stops. Right now it is conne...

Following this still. I now get consistent RPM indication with the new 2.7.7 firmware but I noticed today while testing that I still have the RPM freakout situation. I saw the revs go up as high as 3800 or so, but above that they went to 400000-something, which even the '86 Carrera is not capable of...

That's the schematic right from Eagle, as I drew it. I made the board - after I tried it once with perfboard and thought something was shorting out because I was only seeing about 1/2 of the voltage at the RCP that I was expecting to see (sorry, don't have numbers in front of me right now). I was co...

Unity gain amp
I did some more research on how to connect RCP to my existing fuel level and oil pressure gauges without affecting the readings on the original gauges, and built myself a dual unity gain amp to isolate them. Here's the schematic attached. I started with the less-critical fuel gauge, which is a littl...

toga,
I have one of these as well: http://www.etisystems.com/mh22.asp in 3 turns, 5Kohm. I haven't had a chance to look at the lever yet, but would having fewer turns and the same 5K value help the resolution? Might go for a combination of the two.
Thanks
