Hi David,
Thanks for the reply, I'll be the first to confess limited understanding of computers, let alone PDAs! I might have to splash out on a newer bit of kit.
Nice to know more Imps (Clan in my case) use this, I know of a few with megasquirt.
Cheers, Paul.

psmjlj.app
Did you get this running on your palm?
I have a palm Vx, pocket C runtime installed easily, but the "quick install" on the PC won't let me HotSync .app files. Or am I missing something simple?
Cheers, Paul.

Runtime ok
I had similar problem, Turned out to be UK sourced transistors (not from digi-key) that had 2 of the output pins swapped, became aparent when testing with a mulitmeter, against the schematic. You built the board your self, so might be worth a try if conponents were not from digi-key, the data sheet ...

Tacho - again!
Hi all, I have searched the forum for this problem, but I think it is a new one... I have an electronic tacho, known good with points and old-style electronic ign. So I connect it to the MJLJ tach output, and get nothing, so i try the EDIS. My EDIS 4 plug has no hole in between the two coil outputs,...

That sounds like a short to m
That sounds like a short to me! But.. I have just tried my controller for the 1st time today, and have had exactly the same problem, except the external circuitry checks out OK. with further investigation, however it seems that the pin-outs on the UK-sourced transistors are different from the schema...

Edis Heat sink?
Hi all,
Does the EDIS unit require mounting on a heat sink? I can't remember the Ford setup.
All replies greatfully received, and a Happy New Year to all.
Paul.

Order
Hi Brent,
I don't like querying this on a public mail, but i've had no reply from you e-mail, You say a week for delivery (perhaps a bit longer to UK?), I ordered through the web site, and paid through paypal on the 7th Nov, so is there a problem, or has the parcel gone AWOL?
Regards, Paul.
