Re: Using racecapture pro mk3 in autox
The car has FAST EFI 2.0 with traction control that monitors driveshaft rpm delta per .1 second. We program how much slip is acceptable and then pull timing (up to 25 degrees) to try to control it. The engine makes 450lb/ft at 3000 rpm, 562 lb/ft at 7500, and 460 lb/ft at 9000 rpm, HP is 820 at 8200...

Re: Using racecapture pro mk3 in autox
I will give that a try, thanks for the input. I have a course I use near my house and when I cycled RC off and on it did not recognize my start line. I did not have the tablet in the car though, I will try again. Putting in a desired time was our next step, with the system. I was prepared to remove ...

Re: Using racecapture pro mk3 in autox
I want to use predictive timing solostorm is not enough to get all the information needed. My question was related to keeping course memory alive. "Tell him to look ahead"? Do you think you could do better? https://youtu.be/dUC7PLCRY3o https://www.fuelcurve.com/scott-fraser-captures-third-...

Using racecapture pro mk3 in autox
I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge regarding the system software but am hoping someone on the forum can help me achieve my objective. Raspberry Pi 4.0
Hi, this is the better thread to discuss RPi topics: https://forum.autosportlabs.com/viewtopic.php?t=5510 We're shortly testing the RPi 4, we'll post our results there. Thanks! Any new news on an update for Racecapture on the Pi 4.0? That is pretty much the only Raspberry Pi I could get my hands on.
Alright! A preliminary Predictive timing visualizer script has been added to the wiki: https://wiki.autosportlabs.com/ShiftX2 I have not been able to get this script to do anything. Has anyone else been able to get the visual predictive timing working? I am not at all familiar with Lau script altho...
ShiftX2
Is there any existing script for Predictive timing indication for the ShiftX2 module or does "implement me" mean get off your duff and write your own script?

Autox with RaceCapture/Pro3
I just purchased the RCP3 unit and am wondering how I can get GPS coordinates into the software for start, segments and finish. The unit and its GPS receiver are permanently installed in the race car so it would not be practical to take on a course walk. Can my tablet use another source of GPS say a...
