The vehicle is an MGB. The H.T leads are carbon core. The charging system is fine. I have been proving the system with the vacuum tube still connected to the dizzy. Managed to get the saw signal working. If I had worn my glasses when I was building the board maybe I would not have created the short on the board. No damage done.
Just shows it pays to check and check again.

I would seem to have the same problem, with the advance constantly at 10 degrees and the runtime showing ok. What problem did you find with your system.

Have checked the mjlj in real time and seems to be working ok just not affecting the advance, so figure it must be either on the output from the mjlj or the input to the edis or edis itself.
Anyone had a similar problem to point me in the right way.

Try checking your VR sensor wires, swap them round and see if it makes a difference.
