as mentioned in another thread.
I would like a option that can adjust the complete map "offset" +/- 10 degrees (or whatevere number) to simulate turning a distributor back and forth.
both to dial in the loction of the VR sensor and to roughly tune the ignition map.

Yes this is a good idea.
Are u thinking of an "offset field" , so u can tune the complete map +/- 5-10 degres??
igniotion offset
just like turning a stock distributor. :)

thx guy's. :) Those leakey WBX are actually very nice and strong engines if you sort out the "small" issues regarding leaking. Crank and case are bulletproof. great for turbo/torque. I have experimented with turbo on a couple of other WBX engines , in a beetle i had. and the can handle a d...

Triggerwheel made out of aluminium?

Would it work with a alu trigger wheel(non magnetic) or is the steel(magnetic) needed to produce the signal ? I have considered to CNC machine a pulley with trigger wheel in one unit , made from aluminium. If it works as a inductive sensor it would work i asume , but if it depends on the steel wheel...

HV kickback pulse circuit for tacho

The circuit made for connecting a tachometer that needs the HV kickback pulse also contain a Zenerdiode. What is the purpose for that zener?
Can i skip it and only use the 2pcs of 1N4004??
Would it work with a 36V zener?(as i have one available)

Hooking up Megajolt to Haltech or Electromotive EFI

Since the Haltech uses the Coil signal to fire the Injectors... is it only to use tach output from MEgajolt to hook them together??
