Brent, I ran through the steps you listed. Unfortunately RCP still didn't pick up the data. The config. (attached) still shows same, wrong 417001744, id. Responses in CAN logging are seen on ids 417001745 and 417001757 (both seem to respond with the data). I tried to attach the logs I captured showi...

Sure thing. I’ve dumped the CAN and OBD2 channels a couple times and even ran the resetconfig from putty.
So I can give it another try and share config after that. It may take a couple days to make the time to test.

Thanks again for helping run it down!

Firmware was updated to 2.15, I think. It was the beta version posted.

App is 1.12.1 on iPhone,
Windows version should also be the latest available for download. I pulled direct from autosportlab site in early December (2018).

Right now everything is coming from my primary driver, a 2010 TSX, while I build the ITR (scheduled to go out for paint in a couple weeks). Just getting familiar with the system, and hoping to be able to share some knowledge with others in the Honda Communities I hang out on. I posted in bug reporti...

I'm not sure how many here would find it useful but wanted to share that I put together auto dimming from a couple resources online. I'm also not sure if this will work with other displays but I'm using the official 7" touch unit: You'll just need a small capacitor (105\1uf) and a photoresistor...

It’s possible that I’m still not calculating the mask right but so far no luck there.

Hopefully Someone can at least confirm the bug.

Haven’t had time to put the lua together to test via script so I’ll still have to see what I get from that.

29-bit mode CAN ID

Originally posted https://forum.autosportlabs.com/viewtopic.php?p=29140#29140 until I realized there were no mods on that sub-forum. Not sure if this is a true bug (app or rcp) but just hoping to get some feedback. Ok, I'm pretty sure I've figured out why I'm not able to get OBDII data from my 2010 ...

Ok, I'm pretty sure I've figured out why I'm not able to get OBDII data from my 2010 TSX (probably the '18 Honda Civic I tested too). When setting up OBDII mapping you can enable 29bit mode on the PID page. When 29-bit mode is set and saved, the CAN ID changes to 417001744. In my case however I can ...

Splitting this up to appropriate subforums
CAN specific info will be on a new thread here viewtopic.php?p=29130#29130

I'll share updates on getting OBDII pids on this existing thread.

2010 TSX (Honda\Acura) CAN IDs

I haven't seen much documentation around Honda\Acura CAN id's so wanted to contribute some of what I've been able to pull together from my 2010 TSX. I'm not sure how widely this will be applicable but hopefully it helps someone get started: RPM 10Hz 476 1(2) Raw High rate rpm 380 2(2) Raw Speed 10hz...

Ok so now I have: (all are big)
RPM 10Hz 476 1(2) Raw
Speed 10hz 344 4(2) Raw/100 kph>mph
Throttle Pedal Position 10hz 314 1(1) Raw*100/255

I may also have Brake on\off but need to confirm throttle pedal on\off doesn't interfere

Well, this thread might be better moved to CAN Mapping. Though I do want to swing around at some point and see if I can pick up OBD2 from the TSX CAN. My working theory is that it needs a more custom request based on the information I linked earlier. But on to the good news! I can confirm Speed on i...

New troublemaker for RaceCapture and Data Acquisition

Hi, I wanted to take the time to introduce myself since I've already started posting pleas for help elsewhere on the forum. First of all, I might as well own it, I'm another Honda guy. Worse I've yet to spend a single day on the track (as of 12/2018), though the goal is to fix that. After an earlier...
