Windows Vista Problems
Ive had two problems with Windows vista and v3.2.1. 1) I can't open any maps, computer freezes and I have to hard boot to get out of it. 2)Using a belkin FSU109 USB adapter (with vista driver), I can get an initial reading then it won't communicate with the unit at all. I know the unit is working be...

May have figured it out. Seems I connected the 12V source to accessory fuse box that I previously installed. Unfortunately, the fuse box was on the acessory output of the starter solenoid. In other words, the unit was getting 12V when the ignition was on (that is why it consistently was testing OK),...

Megajolt working, car still not starting
I have gone through the megajolt system and have tested it by first using the MP3 signal and it sparked just fine. I next tested it by running my engine with my stock ignition and hooking up a dummy spark plug (I was the dummy a couple times, the shock is not too bad) and checking the number 1 spark...

Bobbyspit, I ended up
Bobbyspit, I ended up mounting my wheel on my stock pulley with 8 #8 hex head bolts tapped into the pulley. I used a 1/4" spacer to get the trigger wheel away from the pulley. To get the trigger wheel centered on the pulley I installed only two of the bolts and oversized the holes on the trigge...

I am about to tackle this on a 77 1500 spitfire as soon as the parts arrive. Obviously I don't have a working map yet, but I recal that it has been done on several spits, someone should be able to help out. Have you mounted your trigger wheel/ pickup yet. I can send photos of how I dd it if you woul...

Megavew for Megajolt???
I have seen something similar for use with the megasquirt set-up. This one actually allows the user to change settings. Here is the link:
http://www.bgsoflex.com/mv/megaview.html
Seems someone should be able to make it work for megajolt, I assume it would be simplier than the megasquirt system.

36-1 on Spit
Dominic, I installed the wheel on the back of my 1500 pulley. I attached it with 6-#8 allen head screws w/loc-tite with 1/4" alluminum spacer between the pulley and wheel. I made the first two holes slightly bigger so could adjust the pulley to exact center then drilled the rest of the holes an...

MegaView?
The megaview unit is a standalone piece that provides real time monitoring without a laptop. Its a small unit that can be mounted near the dash. I realize you can monitor those things with a laptop. Thanks

MegaView for MJLJ????
While looking through the webpages for the megaSquirt system I noticed someone has created a real-time monitor for the system (MegaView). Has anyone ever considered something like this for the MJLJ?
