Hiya mate, all you will need

Hiya mate, all you will need to do is take the four wires which used to run to the EEC from the EDIS, snip them near the EEC end (probably best to mark them first), then connect them to the 14-pin molex connector which should be in the side of your megajolt box (the link from my previous post). Eith...

Hiya, just a quick thought, although now i think it might not be an issue but ill put it up anyway!.. The MAP sensor reads up to 36ish PSI, if this is Absolute pressure then it will only read up to 36 - 14(atmospheric) 22 psi of gauge pressure, ie boost... However now i think about it theres not man...

OO that sounds like fightin' talk! This could be going on a long time..:) "First one is RP(S)^2" i duno what that means! RP (in the unit of seconds) squared?...And veclocity (RPM) IS a vector yes thats the only way calculus can work! Its a simple displacement, velocity, acceleration situat...

A Maths Nerd Writes...

Using your example, the acceleration of the engine is 1000RPM/second, NOT /second^2. ie 1000rpm increase in *speed* over one second, since acceleration is difference in speed over time, the unit of acceleration is RPM/Sec im not sure where youre 60000RPM/sec^2 came from???. RPM/ sec comes from a rev...

doh

'72-2 off the crank', blonde moment...forget that youll have to run it off the cam..

i guess the problem will be you'll have is to double the ignition advance, that'll probably be more than the edis8 was designed for.

I think it could work...

You probably could run two coil packs but i'm not that fantastic with electronics so'll leave that up to someone else! its also easier to pick up 4's...However I think it using the 8 could work... In an 8 cyl 4stroke you get 4 sparks per 360 deg (each cylinder takes 720deg to do a full induction/com...
