Whatever do you mean? :)
Brent, I'm not speaking for Luca, but I do have one comment. Is there some way you could turn off the subject line for users when replying to posts? Everyone seems to be replying with a new subject line so the message thread becomes incongruent. If replies automatically had the current subject line ...

Update on part numbers.
I can't find an equivalent for the EDIS-4 or EDIS-6 module pigtail. It seems only the S-744 EDIS-8 pigtail is avaiable. You can still use the S-744 of 4 and 6 cylinder modules but you'll have to cut some of the connector's keying features away to use it.

trigger wheel
Luca,
While I was seaching this site i found some reference to VR sensor polarity. It seems that the sensor needs to be hooked up properly in order to provide the right signal to the EDIS. Might be worth checking out as well...

trigger wheel
Luca, In your recent test bench photos, the trigger wheel looks as though it should work fine. I can't figure out why you're not getting a reliable trigger signal. One thought I had was the trigger wheel material. Is the wheel made out of something weird like a high nickel content steel? The wheel n...

trigger wheel
Just throwing out some ideas here... I've looked at your installation photo. Are the teeth of the wheel standing well above any nearby rotating parts? It looks as though you have a flange on either side of the toothed wheel that are the same outside diameter as the toothed wheel. I don't think the V...

acceleration rate
RPM per second is the industry standard.
I would venture that this is because the dividend doesn't need to be converted for other calculations and the divisor keeps the significant digits to a minimum.

VR sensors
Those are Standard Motor Products part numbers, not Ford. The European affiliate is www.intermotor.co.uk, although their website doesn't work properly. You may still want to go to an independant autoparts supplier and see if he can cross reference the SMP part numbers.

VR sensors
Look here:

Most of these VR sensors are under 20 clams at the auto parts store. They're all Ford replacement items designed to work with EDIS.

Although it's probably been covered in several earlier posts, I thought it would be nice to have a one stop shop for EDIS part number references. These are all Standard Motor Products part numbers. Most auto parts outlets can cross them over to their store brand. CONNECTORS S-744 edis module pigtail...
