Tried the ignition with the tach omitted, my tables go up to 7000. And, i've set the rev limiter at 8000, but its just an output on the computer, so i dont belive that this would cause a problem. I did find that the wires to the sensor werent making very good contact, so i rectified that, but still ...

Help, ignition cuts out at 5k rpm
I've been running my car for just over a month now. Its runs really well, and i'm very happy with the peformance, but... the ignition cuts out at 5000 every time. I've got a tach wired into the power wire to the coil, and every time i reach 5k it, the tach, and the igniton cut out. Can anyone help w...

Well, wouldnt ya know it,
Well, wouldnt ya know it, once i bought another EDIS module, i found out that i wired the sensor backwards.
But, it sure was cool to see flames coming from the carbs with the set up running at 10 degrees BTDC. Once i plugged in the megajolt computer the thing ran like a top.

Tried everything. The bloody thing made one spark, then nothing. Oh well, i'll try the wiring the opposite way tonite, then if that doesn't help, i'll go hunting for another EDIS module.

Sensor Wiring
For the past three weeks, i've been trying to get my car running, but have had no success. I get no spark at all, i've changed the coil pack, tested the sensor, and still nothing. If i have the sensor wired backwards, will it "fry" the EDIS unit?

Now, the real problem is wher
Now, the real problem is where to get this "shielded" wire. I've tried some local suppliers and they dont seem to have any. So, anyonw know where i might find some, i'm in Vancouver, BC.

Shielded wires
Does the EDIS require the SAW/PIP and the VRS wires to be shielded? Also, does the Coil Pack require the radio suppression bits hooked up? Just curious, cause my car aint running any form of stereo, the only music i'll hear is whats being emmitted from the exhaust. Which on this car is less then 2 f...
