Hi Fernando - you don't have to start a new topic to continue a discussion I have replied on your other thread. Please confirm (in the other thread) what the value in the Configurator (under the Options tab) is for the Rev Limit setting.

The EDIS and MJLJ are almost guaranteed to work well to 8500rpm - some people report 8800, 9000, 9200 or even 9500.... What is the rev limit set to in the Configurator (on the Options tab)? At very high rpms it can be difficult to work out what is limiting rpm as it can be fuel, spark or just mechan...

What values do you have next to the rows on the map? 0 to 100 or something like 10 to 250? If the latter then you need to change them to 0 to 100 to reflect the calibrated TPS....

What sort of strobe - is it a clever snap-on type digital one where you adjust the read out to give you a flash at TDC? That type of strobe can give that sort of doubling effect, but they usually double the whole advance, not just on the MJLJ advance ...basically they're not designed for wasted spar...
