Series III 2.25l Land Rover
I successfully installed Megajolt into Otly early in 2006 and haven't looked back since :D http://rbm-photo.mysite.orange.co.uk/pic2.jpg Otly is a 1982 Series III Land Rover with a normally aspirated, 2286cc, 5 main-bearing, 4-cylinder engine fed by a Zenith carburettor. Megajolt Lite Junior has rep...

I am "that person"
Andy, Sorry, I can barely help myself :-) I've done Megajolt on a LandRover but only on a humble 2.25. I'm 99% sure that it has been done on a V8 though. Try: <a>http://www.ep90.com/index.php?id=1</a> <a>http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?s=ca7c9b7ef8d7ba9c6db46d86b471e38e&showtopic=1014&st=2...

I'm planning on fitting a touch screen and a PC into Otly at some point. Partly as it might be useful for tuning, GPS etc etc but mostly because it'd be a good laugh in a classic Land Rover ;-) I thought, when the time came, I'd try and program a little interface to show RPM and even, god forbid, fu...

Dear <b>MR</b> 4600cc I have corrected the offending page. I apologise unreservedly and abjectly for any offence caused. Grovel, grovel. When I wrote that page you were just an anonymous user name and I'm not one to jump to sexist assumptions. Just because you've a big capacity doesn't necessarily m...

Thanks for the new version
Thanks for the new version Brent. What service eh! Cool. Thanks also to MartinM for finding the intentional mistake in my workings. I've been waiting months to see if you guys would spot it :-) I'll have to mend it now. As to your other comments, I was only trying to simulate the dizzy with this fir...

Advance limits?
Brent, I've been contacted by a fellow Land Rover owner who's installing Megajolt and he's spotted a problem....not a bug as such. It's that the upper limit for advance values has dropped from 59 to 49. The map which I devised for the 2.25l includes advances up to 60. I was happy to settle for the m...
Uploader
Brent,
It seems that the "contributed" uploader still isn't working.
Is it possible to email you the file or something? A couple of people seem to have been asking for it and it seems a shame not to have it there.
Cheers!
Robert.
