Zetec map
Hi, I copied my map from here. Still working fine, no plans to change it. You'll need to create the load bins first using the run time display to see what tps value is associated with full and idle throttle and the bit of code at the top of this page, then set up the zetec map near the bottom. Mine'...

Setting up and maps
Take a look at this site. It details how to calibrate your tps and gives a couple of zetec maps. My suggestion would be to start with the 2d map just to check everything seems to work, then upload the 3d. Works fine in my car, 2 litre westfield, 40 dcoe's. http://www.cate1.co.uk/megajolt/mapping.php

2 litre zetec tried and tested
I've a 2 litre zetec in a westfield running with twin 40 DCOE's and tps. I installed the 3d map from Matt's site and it seems to run just fine. I haven't put the car on a rolling road, indeed it's not top of my priorities as it runs quite nicely, plugs are a good colour, progressive, decent fuel con...

As good as sex - almost!
Yes, I'm in! Thank you so much for the help. The final piece was downloading the windows software and not the Java. Next questions, the TPS is calibrated from 50-230, why? Is there a process to recalibrate from idle to full throttle? Where can I find the best map for a 2 litre Zetec, lightweight fly...

Plan for tonight...
Right, I've tested the lead. It is a serial extension lead with all 9 pins connected, so that shouldn't be a problem. I also posted this problem on the Westfield owners site and a reply there was to download the Windows rather than Java software, which I've done, and this has the option of connectin...

MJLJ connection leads
It's possible I've a lead problem. Can I just check, I should be using a null modem lead? Which pins are actually used for communication?

Connecting to MJLJ V2 - driving me mad
I have a Westfield with a 2 litre zetec engine. It has a MJLJv2.2 which runs OK. I am trying to connect to it and see what the configuration is. I have tried a new HP laptop with a Belkin USB to serial converter running XP. This insists on posting to COM6 and will not display the tab in the device m...
