PocketSpark, what can you actually see on the screen?

I'm thinking of using my old iPaq to control MJLJ with the pocketspark software, but to do this I need to buy a new battery for i and buy a RS232 cable, so I'd like to know what I can actually do with the software and what you can actually see on the screen to see whether its worth the effort of buying the bits I need

IMO its not worth it, i had the same idea and all you get is the basic rpm/load bins as a display. and not the nice gauges that i was hoping for, it also locks the IPAQ up intermittently.

But its only an opinion...

You could pick up one of those new mini-laptops they have. They are selling them all over the place in the US.

I spent a few minutes poking around the site and my configuator release notes, read me, etc. Couldn't find hardware requirements anywhere, just trying to confirm Linux use.

Not for me though, I have an older machine w/serial and Win98, plus a newer USB/adapter/Vista machine that is what I use now.
