No trigger wheel, single pulse VR sensor on flywheel/rotor

I have a 1982 Honda CM450 motorcycle with a failing ignition system and the MegaJolt looks like a the perfect replacement. Is there anyway I can configure the MJ to run using the pulser that is part of my stator instead of using a trigger wheel? Also, is the MJ capable of directly driving a coil like the megasquirt v3 board can do?
