Has anyone come across an EDIS 4 with the Tacho output not being wired in the harness?
Is it a matter of drill into the connector and adding the connection/wiring?
Or does the missing connection indicate that the EDIS will not output the Tacho signal?

EDIS Tacho
I had just the same thing with mine, the pin (11 off the top of my head) is blanked out on the connector. However there is a techo output on the MJLJ that runs my Telemetrix guage perfectly (simply by connecting the two together). If I remember collectly there is a diagrm inthe file section of this site that has a ciruit to drive techos that cant use the output of the MJLJ (not all do, but a good preporstion of guages shoudl run from the MJLJ)

EDIS pin 11
Driving an eliot rev counter from pin 11 of edis with no problems.
I couldn't get taco to work from the mjlj output or using the diodes and zener diodes circuit from the coil packs. as a last resort i removed the edis plug and placed a lightweight wire into the plug at pin position 11 and replaced the plug trapping the wire in position. terminated the tail to the revcounter. hey presto a solid revcounter.
