Post by Interceptor »

Hi

Has anyone made or found a timing ring for a Chrysler RB big block V8?

Thanks

What size motor you got? Extra Large!

Not many enthusiasts other than myself have converted American big blocks. More the pity, because they perform even more admirably than ever, both on the street, and at the pump.

Here is the post for my 455.

Mopar and EDIS

Post by Flo »

Hi,
I am converting a tiny LA engine (318 bored and stroked to 344) to EDIS... The Ford Escort 1.9 ring should be possible to fit behind the crank balancer... I hope at least... the Mustang part has a smaller OD, which is not necessarily helpful. I actually assumed that several people out there had converted SB Mopar and Chevy as the distributor is at the probably most inconvenient position possible... not to talk about gas mileage, performance...
