Map for safety!

Post by T3tone »

Finally got round to starting my megajolt project and am concerened about the map pipe splitting resulting in the megajolt not registering boost so taking the timings from 100kpa (atmospheric) values. At present i have a distributor with fixed 26 degrees timing on a turbo a'series so would it be possible to put in 26 degrees of timing at all the 100kpa values from say 3500 rpm onwards?? Also ive managed to load in a map using the 0.2.2.1251 preview which seems a superb piece of software, will this work once i have it all wired up in the car as it is called a preview??

Any help would be very gratefull

Tony.

2D Map

Post by Kenn »

if just got mine up and running using the 0.2.2.1251 and it all works spot on (apart from the mark/space bar function on the run time menu?)

i'v had to unplug my map sensor for a bit till i get my vac take off sorted but if you have two rows one with 90 kpa and the other with 110kpa that will give you a 2D map till you get you pipe sorted. i'v got some screen shots if you need them to look at any.
