Just received my kit from Brent, and the postal service have been less than kind to it. As a result the legs on one of the 16 pin sockets are mangled and i need to get a replacement. Does anyone have a UK part number and supplier for a suitable replacement. Its probably not worth getting a new replacement one shipped from the US as its a 50p part that will probably get a £5.00 postage applied to it.
Thanks in advance

Sorry to hear that about the postal service, I'm suprised they would crush the box that much!
There are two sockets, one for the processor and one for the chip that drives the user outputs. If you are comfortable soldering, you can skip the socket on the processor- I was toying with the idea of omitting that socket, as it would improve reliability since it eliminates the mechanical contact.
