How about an rpm triggered solenoid for a Pan-evac system(crankcase breather to exhaust venturi)?

Drag racers use these for oil control, of course they have lots of blowby to contend with. Some draggers use a vacuum pump, less oil sloshing equals more horsepower.

I welded a bung in the exhaust on my car, and the theory for me is VW engines were never intended to exceed 5000 rpm. My redline is 6750, which is when the oil starts getting thrown about  I figure a trigger around 5000 will do it, my breather setup works fine below that. I will monitor crankcase pressure/vacuum with a gauge to see if it will work or what rpm it should trigger. You have to get more blowby(and pressure) at full load than at partial.

What do you guys think?

A lot of mini's used to run this system, without the solenoid.

"Evacusump" was the name then.

Tube went from the crankcase to a oil/air separator with a drain back to the sump, then to anti-backfire valve and into the exhaust.
You had to watch the pressure, and make sure the engine was air tight.
