definately interested, no promise, but i'll do my best to turn up. a three year old running round the ankles always hinders any attempt at putting the wheels back together, but i did want to show my support.

I'm up for a meet, should be able to bring along a Bike Carb'd Corsa B Xe with MJ, a Nova 1600 with BC's and MJ and mine, if it's finished.

Hey guys, right i have been flagging in trying to arrange a UK meet but how do people fancy coming to the PPC meet at Mallory Park on the 1st May. I know its short notice but would make it more of an event with other clubs there too and hopefully getting some cars in PPC magazine (one i have read a few times, quite good).

Tickets are £15 in advance and £20 on the day. If we get 10 tickets or more then there is 10% off. And if we can get some cars together to make a club stand then we can have some space in the paddock to do so.

Let me know guys and i'll get it sorted

Ouch, that day is hard for us. We'd really like to make that in person. Ryan, I sent you some date suggestions. It would be great to visit the UK, it's been a while for us.

...still trying to get Top Gear audience tickets. Who do we have to bribe?!?

I read up on the meet and it does look good. Even with our "ticket" price from the states. :)

We are exhibiting at Stoneleigh that weekend so can't do the PPC event. Would it perhaps make sense to do things out of Stoneleigh since we'll already have a stand there to base things around?

No this has not happened yet. Which has got me thinking about it again. There is a Run What Ya Bring (RWYB) event at the Santa Pod 1/4 mile http://www.santapod.co.uk/index.php on most months. How would people feel about meeting up on 4th September??

We'll get a little club stand up and do a meet and greet with some track time, obviously. Prices are listed here http://www.rwyb.co.uk/dates.php and there are certain rules to follow. I have never been to a RWYB personally but i have been to the FIA European Drag Finals, amazing

The address is

Santa Pod Raceway
Airfield Road
Podington
Wellingborough
Northants
NN29 7XA
England

I think this would be the best way for some of us to get together and play with our toys. Bounce back at me people if your interested.

I really wouldn't bother going to a RWYB if you actually want to use the strip. Last time at POD the queueing time was between 90 minutes and 2 hours for each run. Test and Tune events cost a bit more but allow you to actually try a reasonable number of runs over the course of the day. "Pod" isn't a great venue for a meet either as it's just a windswept bit of tarmac in the middle of nowhere with very few facilities.

Bruntingthorpe would be a good place as its well massive & can acomadate the cars whether they're road or track motors! it has plenty of space to do top speed runs, 1/4 mile times etcetc if some kind company would bring some kit, maybe talk to a magaazine about a feature of The Autosport Lab cars UK!
i'm sure there are a few ppl on here that have lots of experiance tuning megajolt or do it as part of their job & would be happy to donate there expertise for the day
it would be good to get a mobile rolling road for tuning & power runs

its gotta be a big enough event so if brent wants to get a flight over its gotta be worth his while!

could be a brilliant event peeps
