Software questions

I just finished building the jolt.. When I tried to upload a config file it keeps saying can't open port. I know the port number is com 4 sence I have used the same cable for my megasquirt with no problems.. Does this us a straight through cable or do I need a twist in it?

Double check the software installation instructions under

Make sure the java comm support is installed correctly.

Thks for the redirect back to the install of the software.. Had it almost right with just one file in the wrong spot. All works great now.. And Tks for a great product. DarylP
