Here's one I made just shaking it around a bit with the GPS receiver disconnected.

Just tried 1.1.7, no more wxwidgets errors but I get "Could not read datalog file header" when I click Import, both using my own logs and the Aaron.log sample.

I fixed the dialog that produces that error, so now the *actual* error is showing up. You're certainly doing everything correctly- there's something about your environment that is preventing the app from reading the logfile.

Can you check the file permissions (right click, properties) on the logfiles to make sure there isn't anything unusual? Also, I'll try to create a build that has better logging so we can better see what it's doing behind the scenes.

Interesting that some are seeing it and some aren't.

Yeah, I was able to read in your logfile, no problem. Hmm.

GameboyRMH,

What systems have you tried this on and observed this problem? So far a Linux and windows machine? Is there another machine you can test this on?

I've only tried it in Wine so far, I'll borrow a Windows computer to try it on later, I'm sure it's not a permissions problem though.

Just ran an import on an XP machine with v1.1.7, worked fine.

Not to ultimately worry, we will have a port for Linux soon!
