We actually just released 1.4.1, which has a fix for updating firmware on windows 10. Could you try it out and let us know if it works?

I downloaded and used the latest software to update the firmware through windows 10. It worked! That's great news. I'm still having some trouble with bluetooth connectivity but I'm going to troubleshoot it some more today.
