I have tryed the diode circuit but no luck.
I have a normal tacho that was working on the original coil.
For the moment it is working on one side of my coil and it gives me
half the revs.
No luck with the MJLJ tacho out or the edis tacho out.
Is there anyone with a working tacho??
Can anyone tell me what type does work, specific type nr , brand, from planet??

Ivan,
I have a CA tacho that I bought a couple of years ago - it has a DIL switch inside that allows me to select the type of input it's receiving. I used the default setting, and it works straight off the MJ tacho output.
I don't know in which country you live, but in the UK you can find the same tacho under the Smiths, Greengauges and CA (Caerbont Automotive) labels - they're all made by the same people. I believe that Caerbont run agencies in the USA as well. Google is your friend!
HTH,
David
