Sorry, if this is a FAQ, i would like to know how tuning/configuration of a Megajolt system on a rolling road is done.
I understand that the basic principle is to put the car on the rolling road, check the torque and power output for each RPM entry in the configuration software (1000, 2000..., your granulation may vary then the advance is slowly increased until power drops off again, back some degrees and on to the next RPM entry. A knock sensor such as the MSD one would probably be good but currently i dont have any installed.
Is this correct, and what is the typical setup, rolling road operator handles everything or just tells me the roads result for each RPM entry
and i tune the map? Also, how does the MAP sensor come in, how would that be set up in the 3D map?
