incorrect rev info

Have built my megajolt light v3 and all is ok apart from the fact that with the engine switched off the rev info still shows 400 rpm. Have isolated the megajolt and in fact connected it to a 6volt battery with no other connections apart from the rs232 to my laptop. The rev counter still reads 400rpm. I can load a flash config and save it ok and the map sensor operates ok. But what is the problem have checked all kit build and all seems ok.
Can you help as with a +400 rpm it will advance incorrectly

It's a design feature - don't worry about it!

It's not a 400rpm offset that always applies - it will show the correct rpm when the engine is running

Correct- It's reporting the lowest RPM it can measure and displaying that by default. Anything lower than that is considered 'cranking' RPM.
