Hello, just about to wire up the vr sensor so have ordered a new plug etc, is there a neat way of grounding the copper shield, any tips? Cheers

Don't ground the shield on the sensor end, don't ground the shield on the MJLJ side of the PIP and SAW lines either. All three of these should only be grounded at/near the EDIS module itself. I strip back more than I need, then twist the shield into a normal sized conductor. I then slide a sleeve or a piece of heatshrink over it to keep a nice appearance. I do try to keep as much shield on the center conductors as possible. On the other end, just make a clean cut and put some heatshrink over the shield so it doesn't unravel.

Cheers, what do you mean by keeping as much shield on the centre counductors as possible?

Gav, on the VR sensor you have two wires to the sensor and a ground shield. The point of the shield is to protect the two ACTUAL conductors from outside noise. The longer distance of the ACTUAL conductors covered by the shield, the less chance of any interference. I should have been a little clearer, sorry.
