Post by Sammy D »

The take off for my map sensor is on the bottom of my manifold, which means that any fuel that is left sitting in the maifold ends up down the tube and into my MJLJ unit.

Is this a problem? It still reads ok, and with the lappy connected you can clearly see it working.

It probably still works because fluid (eg petrol) transmits pressure as well as air. It doesn't sound too clever to me though, because if the gunge solidifies you wont get a good reading.

This is what I'm thinking, and the fluid has a lot more surface tension that air so could be giving a bad reading.

Think I need to create some sort of catch tank, hmmn.
