Hi guys ive got megajolt V3 fitted to a 2.0L supercharged pinto and its been on there since 2007 without any problems. the car was laid up for 4 months over the winter & christmas period but not the engine misfires very badly between 2000 - 4000rpm under load. Ive check with a timing light at idle and by reving th engine and the timing advances like it should, and the light doesnt show any missing.

does this sound like the coil going down or the leads leaking? what tests can i carry out to narrow the problem. i could flash a less aggressive map so see if this has any effect on the problem. i was also thinking of doing data logging to see if anything looked out of place or a pattern shows up.

any other comments/ idea very welcome!

just a thought: did you happen to add fuel stabilizer to your tank for the period of time it was inactive? it could just be the fuel going "sour".
